Brighten Up Your Summer with Colored Glass
While exploring Bornholm, don’t miss the chance to step inside one of the island’s oldest glassblowing studios – Baltic Sea Glass. Here, you can sit down in the open workshop and be up close, as some of the most skilled glassblowers work their magic with molten glass heated to 1150 degrees Celsius.
Throughout July, a wide array of summer glass is blown in fresh green and blue tones, along with matching bottles and pitchers. The colorful glasses make any beverage – even a simple glass of water – look festive and inviting on the dining table or terrace. These glasses are only produced during the summer and are made in limited quantities each year.
If you'd like to see the glassblowers in action, stop by (at Melstedvej 47, just south of Gudhjem) Monday to Saturday between 10 AM and 3 PM. We look forward to welcoming you!
