Join us for an exciting UNIKA event

Mark your calendar! This August and September, Baltic Sea Glass invites you into the workshop for this year’s exclusive UNIKA events – a rare opportunity to experience our skilled glassblowers in action as they create one-of-a-kind vases.

It’s both captivating and inspiring to watch the magic unfold, as a glowing 1150°C mass of molten glass is slowly transformed into a finished vase or bowl.

Nature is the direct source of inspiration for all our UNIKA pieces, and so the many beautiful patterns found in the natural world find their way into the glass, bringing it to life. Typically, three glassblowers collaborate on each piece. It’s an intense, focused process that is truly fascinating to witness – so come and watch it happen!

We’ve set up chairs, so you can sit comfortably and follow the process up close. Before the event begins and during the intermission, there will be a chance to talk with the glassblowers, who are happy to share their thoughts behind each piece and insights into their craft.

Each event starts at 17:30 and lasts about two hours.
In the 'first half', one piece will be created. Then we’ll take a short break with a glass of bubbly and light refreshments, followed by the second half, where another unique piece is made.

UNIKA events take place on the following dates:
August 13, August 18, August 28.
September 3rd. and September 8.
