Care Guide for Your Cork Stopper

Baltic Sea Glass’s mouth-blown bottles come with an elegant, minimalist cork stopper that helps keep your beverages fresh. Here are a few simple tips to help your cork stopper last for many years.

Cork is a beautiful, natural material that performs best when treated with care.

1. Rinse the cork stopper briefly in lukewarm water when needed.
If necessary, use a mild dish soap for cleaning.

2. Allow the cork stopper to dry completely before placing it back on the bottle. Standing it upright while drying allows air to circulate.

3. Avoid leaving the bottle sealed with a damp cork stopper for extended periods, as this may cause unpleasant odours or mould.

4. Do not soak the cork stopper or wash it in the dishwasher.

5. If you are not using the bottle for an extended period, store it without the stopper.

Please note that, as a natural material, cork may gradually change slightly in colour and texture over time. With proper care, however, it will remain beautiful and functional for many years. Enjoy!
