Join Us for an Exciting UNIKA Event

Baltic Sea Glass is now opening its doors for two exclusive UNIKA events, where the studio’s skilled glassblowers will showcase their craftsmanship as they create glass art of international quality. The events take place on Monday, June 22 and Tuesday, June 30. Doors open at 5:30 PM, and visitors will have the opportunity to follow the entire process up close as a glowing mass of 1,150°C molten glass is slowly transformed into a finished vase or bowl.

Nature is the direct source of inspiration for all UNIKA creations, and typically three glassblowers work together in close coordination as each piece is brought to life. It is a focused and intense process – so come and experience it for yourself! There will also be an opportunity to talk with the glassblowers, who will be happy to share the ideas behind each work and explain the techniques and processes involved.

The programme is arranged so that one piece is created during the “first half” of the evening. This is followed by a short break with sparkling wine and light refreshments, after which another unique piece will be created. Guests are also welcome to browse and shop in the gallery during the event.

Admission is free.
Address: Melstedvej 47, south of Gudhjem.

If you are unable to attend the event, remember that throughout the season you can visit the workshop from Monday to Saturday and watch the glassblowers at work between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

We look forward to welcoming you!
